Bitter news for FC Bayern. Shortly before the start in the Champions League, the Munich people have to do without one of their professionals.

Raphaël Guerreiro will be missing from Bayern for the time being. The 31-year-old injured himself on Saturday in the 5-0 win against Hamburger SV.

As the club announced, it was “a small injury to the abdominal muscles”. The Munich names did not name a precise failure. Guerreiro had substituted in the Bundesliga home game against HSV at halftime and replaced a short time later.

The Portuguese is an important option in several positions in the squad of coach Vincent Kompany-the more severe the failure before the Champions League start against FC Chelsea weighs on Wednesday (from 9 p.m. in the live ticker at T-online).

In any case, the record champion is currently in terms of personnel. In addition to Guerreiro, the injured Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies and Hiroki ITō are still missing.
