The Finnish ice hockey professional Mikko Rantannen led the Dallas Stars on Sunday (04.05.2025) with an outstanding performance to the quarter-finals of the NHL play-offs.
Rantannen scored three goals in the 4-2 against his ex-team Colorado Avalanche. Dallas thus decided the dramatic round of rounds 4: 3 and moved into the next round as the penultimate team.
Sturm starts against the Toronto Maple Leafs
There the stars meet either the Winnipeg Jets or St. Louis Blues, which play the last place in the quarter -finals on Sunday (local time). The round of the best eight teams begins on Monday with the duel between Toronto Maple Leafs and defending champion Florida Panthers with the German international Nico Sturm.
Dallas was able to rely on coats against Colorado. The 28-year-old had scored four points in the sixth game (one goal, three templates). Rantane was drafted by Colorado in 2015 and played for the Avalanche until the beginning of this year, in the history of which he is one of the best scorers.
