Rain makes way for spring-like weather, but changeable weekend

It has rained heavily and continues this morning, but this afternoon, according to NH weatherman Jan Visser, it will be drier and sunny, even spring-like. That cannot be said about the weekend.

It rained heavily yesterday and last night and this morning. “There have been a lot of cases, but in line with expectations,” says Visser. “A good 20 millimeters fell in many places in the province.” Yesterday afternoon some wet snow fell from the sky, but it is now a lot warmer again, this morning about 10 degrees.

This afternoon the sun will also appear occasionally and it will be about 12 to 13 degrees. “If the sun breaks through this afternoon, you could say it feels a bit spring-like,” says the weatherman.

Weekend weather

Tomorrow’s weather will be similar to today’s. It rains in the morning, but in the afternoon the sun comes out and it is dry at about 12 to 13 degrees. It can be a few degrees colder on the coast.

“The changeable weather continues,” Visser says about Sunday. It will then be slightly colder by about 10 degrees. It will be changeable on Monday with 7 degrees, after which the temperature will rise again. We should no longer expect winter weather for a while, says Visser.
