HPK pilot envied SaiPa.
Raimo Helminen SaiPa, led, translated the defeat into a leadership as a lightning strike in the third round.
HPK’s 1-0 goal was created in the second half of the second round. In time 49.40 Teemu Kivihalme however, it was equalized, and Samu Bau struck only 27 seconds later. This is how SaiPa applied for a score from Hämeenlinna.
Helminen was a little wordy at the post -match press conference.
– Well, hard game. A steady torque, Helminen said and took a break.
– HPK defended the center very well. We couldn’t get to the goals properly. That’s where we had … luckily we got a couple of goals now. You have to be very happy with it, and in general when you can win. A really big deal for us, Helminen added.
HPK pilot Mikko Manner seemed to completely disagree.
– Raipe pulled there in her own modest style. Now I have to admit that the opponent was better. Not done.
Raimo Helminen was modest. Mikko Lieri / AOP
– They were so nicely skated, fed and stayed in the reel. Everything was struck: we fought, defended, hanged and got a lucky goal. We might not have deserved it.
According to Manner, the third round became a completely struggle for survival. Then it was time to glow more SaiPa.
– You can’t but lift your hat. Yes they are strong skating and feeding. It is a jealousy. Tomorrow will continue in Vaasa. This time the result was like this, but not given up.
