Ache had signed the Hesse in 2020 for around two million euros from Sparta Rotterdam. However, he could not prevail in his hometown. At Greuther Fürth and the 1st FC Kaiserslautern, the 26-year-old developed into one of the best attackers in the 2nd Bundesliga. Despite injury problems, he already scored 16 goals this season.
