It is Rachel Hazes’ ultimate nightmare: her son André Hazes Jr., who is again in Monique Westenberg’s arms night after night. She can’t help but think about it, because there’s no one Rachel hates more. Yet, according to the weekly magazine Privé, she better prepare mentally for that, because the love reunion would be a fact.

Together or not?

Competitor Story is diametrically opposed to Privé and states that there is absolutely no question of a reunion. According to critics, this is because André would not fully inform his mother about his relationship status – for fear of her reaction – and that Rachel would therefore pass on misinformation to the Story.

After all, the entertainment magazine seems to largely base its reporting about André on off the recordinformation from Rachel. She maintains very close ties with editor-in-chief Guido den Aantrekker.

Rachel responds

Although Rachel is suspected of being the ‘initiated’ who is always featured in Story articles about André, she at least responds under her own name in the magazine this week.

When asked about the rumors of a love reunion, Rachel replies: “I was talking to Dré about that this morning. Because we refuse to comment on his private life, certain things take on a life of their own. That is sometimes annoying. Nevertheless, we stand by the position that we do not say anything about his private life.”

‘Pictures say nothing’

Fortunately, Guido does want to say more about it. According to him, the photos taken by the Privé weekly mean nothing at all. “The shots are certainly heartfelt and heartfelt, in the context that the cuddly singer interacts in exactly the same way with, for example, his mother Rachel, his cousin Djarno and the neighbour’s wagging dog.”

You have to see that intimacy between André and Monique ‘in the light of conciliatory movements towards their son’, Guido explains. “Who could see with his own eyes that mom and dad really still love each other.”

secret deal

That André and Monique would now deny their relationship because of a deal with Videoland is complete nonsense according to Guido. He states that the folk singer is an honest boy.

“Whoever knows André, and Story has been doing that almost all his life, knows that the singer never lies, and does not make a murder pit of his heart”, concludes Guido.
