Rachel Hazes finds it incomprehensible that John de Mol has decided to sign Yvonne Coldeweijer to Talpa. “A woman like that simply needs to be stopped.”
It has surprised friend and foe that John de Mol has decided to bring Yvonne Coldeweijer out of her juice pension by giving her her own program on Net5. She was a retired juice diva and almost all celebrities, including John’s stars, were actually happy with that. So John is not making himself popular with this deal.
‘It’s worrying’
Rachel Hazes also finds it incomprehensible. Her soap was rejected by SBS 6 last year, but her arch rival Yvonne has more luck. He gets a daily juice program on sister channel Net5.
What does Rachel think about this? “I actually think it’s a waste of my time to pay attention to her at all, but if you still want to know my opinion, then I find it quite worrying that such a woman is given such a platform,” she says in New Revu.
Call a halt
Rachel thinks Yvonne should no longer be given a stage at all. “Afraid of what she puts out as so-called news. She has lost everything from me in the lawsuit.”
She continues: “Such a woman must simply be stopped, because where does it stop spreading all the juice and then dismissing it in court as satire in my case.”
Journalism
John de Mol should be committed to quality journalism, Rachel believes. “As I have said before, I am seriously concerned about journalism in the Netherlands given all the lies that are spread and that are simply accepted by many people.”
Finally: what does Talpa star Gordon think? He says: “A juice program like this is a bit of a must-have after dinner now, I think. I always thought Yvonne was very nice and friendly until she started spreading lies and untruths. I hope she realizes that she can damage people with her statements and assumptions.”
