Queen Elizabeth II must postpone comeback

Will we ever see her again? She locked herself in Windsor to stay there. Queen Elizabeth II (95) will probably not go outside again so quickly.

Because: The Queen has canceled her first public appearance in five months. Elizabeth actually wanted to be present at the Commonwealth Day service in Westminster Abbey on March 14th. The palace has now announced that nothing will come of it.

A source told the Daily Mail: “It’s not a big surprise that the Queen won’t be there.” After all, she’s almost 96 and still recovering from her corona disease.

By the way: Elizabeth has only missed Commonwealth Day twice in her life: in 1971 and 2013.

Instead of ruling in the middle of London, England’s monarch recently moved her seat to Windsor Castle outside the city, where she will pursue her activities from now on. On the other hand, Elizabeth does not want to go back to the famous Buckingham Palace.

We will probably also see her much less often in public, she now mainly works from home. Does that mean: Never Queen again?

Queen comeback? Hoping for March 29th!

In any case, the next date will follow on March 29th, when there is a memorial service for Prince Philip († 99), who died in April a year ago. Actually unthinkable that Elizabeth will not be present to honor her husband.

Who definitely does not appear: Prince Harry (37). The Queen’s grandson, who has long fled to the United States, will not be present at Philips’ memorial service, a spokesman said on Friday. Nevertheless, Harry plans to visit his grandmother soon.

And who will represent England’s queen on the all-important Commonwealth Day? Prince Charles (73)! The heir to the throne will take his mother’s place at Monday’s annual celebration.
