“On one of the boats, the woman attracts a firearm and focuses on the passengers of the other boat,” the police write on Instagram. “Her husband is not happy with the woman’s action and takes the firearm and stores it.”
After several reports of witnesses, the police were en masse. Among other things, a police helicopter, the water police and a police dog were deployed. When agents confronted the wife and her 60-year-old husband, both Amsterdammers surrendered. It turned out to be a fake gun.
The 60-year-old man was arrested because he was sailing under the influence. The 58-year-old woman was arrested for threatening the fake gun.
