Putin willing to extend the nuclear weapon treaty with the US: “Russia does not want any further tensions”

Russia is willing to adhere to the Nuclear Disarm Agency ‘New Start’ with the United States for a year longer. That is what Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a meeting of the Russian Security Council that could be followed on television. The treaty would normally end in February.
