Putin signs new law: from now on foreigners are allowed to fight on a contract -basis in Russian army

From now on, persons without Russian citizenship may serve on a contract basis in the Russian forces. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed the law that regulates this, the Tass and Interfax press agencies report. Service contracts with foreigners are concluded until the end of a mobilization period, state of siege or wartime.
