DIFFERENT CLASS by Pulp comes out in an expanded new edition. The record, which was first released in 1995, will be available from October 24, 2025 in the reissued version under the title DIFFERENT CLASS – 30th ANNIVERSARY EDITION. The whole thing will be released as a 4-LP set and in double CD format and also contains a complete recording of Pulp’s performance at the Glastonbury Festival in 1995. Reason enough to celebrate the special edition on Thursday, October 23rd with a big celebration in the Berlin Bar 19:77 to welcome.

What exactly is planned: A journey back in time to 1995 with the help of a screening of Pulp’s headlining gig at the Glastonbury Festival on June 24, 1995. This performance paved the way for their album DIFFERENT CLASS, which also made them internationally known.
Finally, with the re-release you can experience the record and gig in refreshed sound quality. Jarvis Cocker says the 45rpm double album version of DIFFERENT CLASS will feature significantly improved sound. Specifically, according to a press release from the band’s head about the LP: “We were obsessed with this being our ‘pop’ album – we had finally achieved some ‘popularity’ when ‘Common People’ became a hit – and as everyone knows, all pop albums contain twelve songs: six tracks per side. The only problem: this made the record’s playing time 53 minutes. We were told that this was the audio quality of the album vinyl record – but it was more important to us not to compromise the quality of our pop dream.” And further: “Now, 30 years later, it is finally possible to hear DIFFERENT CLASS in all its glory.”
