In its article published on Thursday, Iltalehti said that the popular Enbuske, Veitola & Salminen – about the harsh backgrounds of the talk show. Several people involved in the program told Iltalehti that Enbuske subordinated, humiliated and manipulated other employees.

After the publication of the article, Enbuske published his own comment on their social media channels. Enbuske admits the article’s claims to be true and apologizes for his behavior.

Enbuske says that he got sick with bipolar disorder around the time of the shooting of the program and that he was very manic and psychotic.

Social media commentators appreciate Enbuske’s open talk about mental health problems.

Roope Salminen writes that he forgives Enbuske. He also admits that he did not suffer from Enbuske’s behavior as badly as other members of the production.

Vocalist Kristian Meurman says he will sign many of the things mentioned by Enbuske in connection with his illness. Meurman also suffers from bipolar disorder. In 2011, he was named the Good Mind Ambassador of the Finnish Federation of Mental Health.

– It is important to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illnesses that there are role models. People love success stories and it is also important to stress that mental illnesses can be just as deadly as somatic illnesses. It’s really not a small cosmetic defect, or a part of the creative process (even though many of us latvalachs are quite creative), Meurman writes Enbusken Facebook post in the comments.

– Let’s be grateful for those who support us also and especially when we least deserve it, Meurman writes.

Also Jussi Ahde supports Enbuske on Facebook.

– I think it’s really important to be honest about it. It takes courage to look honestly at depression, yourself and your own behavior patterns. It’s important to be able to look at those things without judgment, but as you said, also without hiding behind them and without being a victim. Lots of strength and love bro, Ahde writes.
