Schiphol – Leiden
New switches will be constructed at Hoofddorp between January 17 and 27. As a result, there are no trains, but buses between Schiphol Airport and Leiden Central Station. Train traffic on the high-speed line is also not possible between Schiphol and Rotterdam Central Station. This means that travelers spend half an hour longer on the road.
Den Helder – Heerhugowaard
Between January 19 and February 2, ProRail will renew the track between Den Helder and Heerhugowaard. NS uses buses. Travelers must also take into account 30 minutes of extra travel time here.
Weesp – Almere Center
Due to the replacement of a platform at Almere Muziekwijk station, no trains will run from Weesp to Almere Centrum between August 2 and 17. Here too, the timetable is accommodated by buses.
Haarlem – Zandvoort aan Zee
The railway embankment at Overveen must be strengthened to make the track safer and more stable. In addition, a slope staircase will be installed and inspection paths, intended for inspections, will be renewed. This work will take place between November 16 and December 5.
