Prince William’s income last year was 30 million dollars, or about 25.6 million euros.
According to People magazine, this is revealed in a report by the Duchy of Cornwall, which has just been published.
Surplus income not only covers William, but also his wife Princess Catherine and their children’s official and personal expenses, as well as charitable expenses. William pays income tax on the amount.
The Prince does not actually receive a salary, but his annual expenses are met on behalf of the Duchy of Cornwall. The duchy was founded as early as the 14th century to support the heirs to the crown and their families. The property of the entire duchy is worth more than a billion. The property includes, among other things, a lot of land and houses.
The duchy also covers the expenses of Prince William’s family. AOP
