The Bafta gala was full of royal flair.
The cream of the film industry gathered at the weekend at the Bafta gala, which was held in London.
Prince William and Princess Catherine also arrived. Recently, the British court has been in the headlines when ex-Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested this week on suspicion of abuse of office. Despite this, William and Catherine represented the gala on the red carpet with wide smiles on their faces.
William was wearing a burgundy velvet jacket. Catherine, on the other hand, shone at the gala in a long purple evening dress that attracted attention.

The two have attended the gala together for the last time in 2023. In 2024, William arrived at the event alone, because Catherine was undergoing cancer treatments at the time. Last year, neither of the royals attended the event.
The princess’s cancer was first reported in March 2024. The cancer is currently known to be in remission.
– It’s easier to be in remission. I am still focused on recovery. As anyone who has experienced cancer knows, adjusting to a new normal takes time. However, I’m looking forward to what’s to come.
