Another milestone has been added to the Transfermarkt database. The Ukrainian Premier League is now included with all information since the founding year 1992 and also the cup is complete. Transfermarkt is therefore the only site that offers a complete overview of all seasons in the top leagues in the Soviet Union, Ukraine, Russia and Belarus.
With the completion of the Ukrainian Premier League, numerous profiles of big names in world football have also been completed. For example, Andriy Shevchenko’s time at Dynamo Kyiv, where the attacker played from 1994 to 1999 before 2009 to 2012, can now be called up with all the details. Today’s coach played 160 games in his early days at the capital club, in which he scored 91 goals and was recommended for the 23.91 million euro transfer to AC Milan.
The profile of Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, who later won Bayern Munich’s victory, who played for Volyn Lutsk and Shakhtar Donetsk in the Premier League until 2007, is now complete with all the information.
In the rankings of the players with the most appearances and goals in history, Shevchenko and Tymoshchuk have no say in the matter due to their transfers to top European leagues. Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, who played exclusively for Dynamo Kyiv between 1993 and 2017 and played 425 games, played the most games in the upper house. The most successful goalscorer to date is Sergiy Rebrov with 123 goals in 260 games for Dynamo Kyiv.
