The Italian fashion group Prada SpA and the eyewear manufacturer EssilorLuxottica remain loyal to each other.
On Thursday, the two companies announced in a joint announcement that they had prematurely extended their license agreement, which runs until the end of 2025, to December 31, 2030. At the same time, the option for a further extension until December 31, 2035 was agreed.
EssilorLuxottica will continue to develop, produce and market the eyewear collection of the Prada, Prada Linea Rossa and Miu Miu brands worldwide in the coming years. The company has held Prada’s eyewear licenses since 2003.
