Post Malone probably spent Christmas Eve with friends in a bar in the US state of Texas. According to eyewitnesses, he is said to have stayed there until dawn. The other bar visitors were happy to see the celebrity at the establishment in Houston and even paid for his drinks. But the musician didn’t want to leave without leaving some money – and so he gave the bartender a tip of 20,000 US dollars, which is the equivalent of around 19,200 euros.
Everyone in great spirits
Bartender Renee Brown herself revealed to “Music Mayhem” that Post Malone wore the donation pants at Christmas. She told the music magazine that she was actually “sad” because she had to take the shift behind the counter because, as a single parent, she had to leave her child at home without herself for Christmas. But the sadness would have been dampened because the 29-year-old US musician would have turned up at their store – The Railyard – with some friends and had a good time. “It lifted the spirits of the entire bar. It was great to see everyone so happy,” said Brown.
Starting capital for your own company?
When the rapper noticed that they had already paid for his drinks at the end of the party, he still asked for a bill so that he could at least pay out a tip, the bartender said. And then came the big surprise: He gave her $20,000. “I immediately burst into tears,” Renee Brown admitted.
But she already has a plan: she wants to use the money to build her own business. However, she did not reveal to “Music Mayhem” what exactly she had in mind.
