In the Emmerhout district in Emmen, a motorist was injured tonight in a collision between two cars. The victim was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. The other motorist was arrested by agents.
The man is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs. He himself remained unharmed, after checking by ambulance personnel, further treatment in the hospital was not necessary.
The accident happened at the intersection of the avenue of the Iemenhees and the Houtweg. That happened around 7.15 pm.
