A police spokesperson says: “A motorist heard one or more bangs, after which the person lost control of the wheel.” Several bystanders reported a shooting shortly afterwards. A possible suspect is said to have fled on a train. “That is why train traffic was halted for a short time.”
No injuries
The police are currently investigating what happened and therefore cannot make any further statements at this time. A spokesperson said that no suspect has yet been arrested or is in the picture. No one was injured in the possible shooting. Train traffic around Obdam station resumed according to timetable half an hour later, around 6:35 p.m.
