Popeda was scheduled to perform today, Friday in Hämeenlinna at the Scandic Aulanko hotel.

Scandic Aulanko informs now on Facebook, that the evening’s concert has been cancelled. The reason is “the soloist’s impaired working condition”.

– Unfortunately, Popeda’s gig tonight on November 4. will have to be canceled due to the soloist’s reduced work condition, the hotel announces on its Facebook page.

– We ask everyone who bought a ticket in advance to contact the party that sold the ticket. Popeda and Scandic Aulanko apologize for the inconvenience caused, the release states.

Hotel manager Outi Byman says that the hotel received a notification about the cancellation of the gig around six o’clock in the evening. The reason was stated to be the soloist’s impaired working condition.

– This is the information we have been given. As far as I understand, they have not been there, Byman commented to Iltalehte.

The first gig of the tour

Popeda is scheduled to perform on Saturday at Hotelli Vantaa. The hotel has no information that the gig has been cancelled. The hotel estimates that the matter will be confirmed during Saturday.

Popeda regrets the cancellation of the gig on his Facebook page. The pages have accumulated comments from upset fans. Osa says that he came from far away to see the band.

The band has not given a more specific reason for canceling the gig. Popeda has had to cancel before because of the singer’s condition. This happened last year, for example, when Mustajärvi had a confused performance at a gig in Forssa.

Mustajärvi has spoken openly about alcohol use several times and said that alcohol use has threatened to end the entire band’s story.

The Hämeenlinna gig was the first of Popeda’s autumn tour, which is scheduled to last until mid-December.
