In Braunschweig, fans will now hear the voices of their idols on the tram: Eintracht Braunschweig players and coaches recorded the announcement at the stadium.

The anticipation for an Eintracht Braunschweig home game begins in the Lion City on the way to the stadium: Braunschweiger Verkehrs-GmbH (BSVG), together with Eintracht Braunschweig, has recorded new stop announcements – spoken by the club’s players and coaches.

On home game days, the announcement “Next stop: Stadium” will be heard at the “Stadion” stop with familiar voices. Striker Sebastian Polter, goalkeeper Ron-Thorben Hoffmann and defender Louis Breunig as well as assistant coach Marc Pfitzner are involved. The special announcements are made in the additional trams that the BSVG uses for the arrival of the fans.

With the campaign, the BSVG would like to show its solidarity with Braunschweig. “Our light rail systems are part of football in Braunschweig,” says BSVG managing director Jörg Reincke. “When fans hear the voices of their players, it builds anticipation – and shows that this city sticks together.”

The club is also happy about the collaboration. Dennis Opel, marketing manager at Eintracht Braunschweig, explains: “The announcements are a great idea to make the Eintracht feeling noticeable on the way to the stadium. Anyone who hears the voice of our players on the train knows immediately: Today is match day in Braunschweig – today counts!”

The new stadium announcements can now be heard on the BSVG special tracks on all home game days. The next game at the Eintracht Stadium on Hamburger Straße will take place on Sunday against VfL Bochum (kick-off: 1.30 p.m.).
