The police are diligently looking for the perpetrator(s) who caused three explosions on Monday, January 19. Police are currently investigating a possible link between the incidents. Images of the attacks were shown in the television program Opsporing Verzocht, the police hope that someone will recognize the perpetrator(s).
The first explosion was just after four o’clock on Monday at the Ruusbroechof in the Overdie district. Later that day, at half past seven and half past eight in the evening, there were explosions on Mesdaglaan and Olieslagerstraat, both in the De Mare district.
There were already in the Olieslagerstraat rather explosives gone off. As a result, cameras were even installed and a house closed.
