The police are looking for witnesses who know more about a robbery in the Hoorn park Risdammerhout. The victim was a cyclist who was robbed by a group of six men on Sunday evening. Police have yet to comment on the progress of the investigation.
This happened near the Gatekeeper, the police report. The cyclist was stopped and held by a group of six men around 7:45 PM, after which he was robbed. After the robbery, the group split: part of the suspects walked towards the De Huesmolen shopping center and the other towards the Vredehofstraat tunnel.
According to a spokesperson, the suspects are around 18 years old, between 1.70 and 1.80 meters tall and have a light to dark complexion. According to the victim, they also did not speak Dutch with each other.
Police are calling on witnesses to come forward.
