Police free factory workers in Turkey who were held hostage ‘due to war in Gaza’

The hostage situation at a factory of the American group Procter & Gamble in northwestern Turkey is over. The governor of the province of Kocaeli reported this to the Turkish news agency ‘Demirören’ late on Thursday evening. All hostages have been rescued. The hostage taker justified his action as a protest against the war in Gaza. He could be arrested.
