Two children from Overijsselse Dalfsen, who have been missing since Monday morning, were found in the Belgian city of Oudenaarde in the night from Monday to Tuesday. The police have that announced. It is an 11-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, sister and brother. They are “in good health.”
It is unknown how the two children ended up in the East Flemish city. Due to the investigation, the police do not want to announce any further details.
The children were last seen on Monday morning at the Dalfsen train station. The police assumed a kidnapping ‘within the relational atmosphere’. Due to ‘major concerns’ about the well -being of the two, an Amber Alert was issued on Monday. That alert was withdrawn on Tuesday morning. Such a message is sent out nationally if a child is missing and the police think he or she is in danger.
