‘Police arrest suspect of murder of Tilburg rapper Boechi’

The police arrested a man in Rotterdam on Saturday in connection with the murder of Antillean rapper Boechi from Tilburg. This reports news site Curacao.nu. The arrest was made at the request of the Public Prosecution Service of Curaçao.

Boechi was shot dead on Curaçao on December 10 after a performance. This happened from a white car that drove past. The artist, whose real name was Ruchendell Bonifacio Windster, was on the island for a series of concerts.

According to Curacao.nu Detectives from the Organized Crime Department also conducted three house searches in a number of residential areas in Curaçao, during which items were seized.

Brawl during cremation
During the cremation of Boechi in the crematorium in Tilburg, a fight broke out among those present. After the memorial service in the Willem II stadium, where hundreds of people said goodbye to the rapper, there was already fighting.

The shooting that took place on December 21 at the Esso gas station on Ringbaan East is also linked to this funeral. There Javier L. (41) shot Ludson S. (37) dead.

De Tilburger told the court at the end of March that he had been threatened by the victim and his brother for some time. Among other things during the memorial service for Boechi at the King Willem II stadium.
