Thijs Römer is enjoying a holiday in Thailand with his girlfriend Igone de Jongh. Meanwhile, he still has a MeToo accusation hanging on his pants. “The police are busy with it.”
It is now exactly two and a half months ago that Thijs Römer (44) came under considerable fire. The 20-year-old Nena Kruizenga from Groningen then accused him of transgressive behaviour. That would have taken place six years ago, when she was only 14 years old.

Thijs responded almost immediately to the accusations. He threatened to report defamation and slander. “However, as a father of a teenage daughter and a sensible person, this is a bridge too far for me. I hope it won’t be necessary, but if this doesn’t stop, I’ll have to file charges for defamation and slander.”
After a long silence, Nena suddenly posted a message on Twitter two weeks ago: “Isn’t it about time, Thijs Römer?”
Why did she post that? “Thijs had blocked me recently and recently he suddenly started following me again.”
‘Police is busy’
Nena now informs Story that she filed a report with the police on May 17. She tells the entertainment magazine: “The police are busy with it. I cannot say more about it.”
Has Thijs continued his declaration of defamation and slander? Nina doesn’t know. “I’ve never seen or heard anything about it.”
Story approached This Römer’s management, but they declined to comment.
