The 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed ​​is already underway and MotoGP is taking center stage this year, with some of the most famous bikes from the past and present. One of the most outstanding moments at the start of the classics exhibition in Great Britain was the reunion of Pol Espargaró with his RC16.

The GASGAS Factory Racing Tech3 rider tried a MotoGP for the first time in a long time, after his serious accident in Portimao. And the smile was as big as ever. “It’s great to catch up with the fans after these months at home, recovering from Portimao’s injury, but now I want to get back to normal. Talking about the injury is over, I really want to go back, to start working with him. team, to recover my speed and to fight with my teammates on the grid. I’m looking forward to it”, stressed Pol.

The MotoGP contingent was sizeable on the first day of the Goodwood Festival, with Espargaró joined by the Ducati test rider Michele Pirro, Mika Kallio representing Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and Lorenzo Savadori with the Aprilia Racing RS-GP. The event also featured two well-known faces, since Kenny Roberts Jr. He climbed La Colina, accompanied by his compatriot Randy Mamola.
