Dortmund (AP) – Borussia Dortmund’s star striker Erling Haaland reacted to the death of his advisor Mino Raiola and honored him with a joint photo.
“The best,” wrote the 21-year-old Norwegian on his verified Instagram account for a heart and the picture that shows him sitting next to the standing and smiling Italian. On the table in front of them is an autograph card from BVB.
Haaland had previously scored all three Dortmund goals in the 3: 4 (2: 2) in the small district derby against VfL Bochum. During the game, Raiola’s family broke the news of his death on the player’s agent’s verified Twitter account. One of the first to express their condolences to the family was Haaland’s father Alfie shortly thereafter. “Rest in peace. The best,” he wrote on Twitter immediately after the news of his death. Alfie Haaland and Raiola were considered the two main players in transfer poker involving the BVB star.
