With Martin Picard, the fifth generation plays a central role in the company at the pocket and accessories specialist Picard. As the family business announced on Tuesday, Martin Picard will now take over the position of Director Sales.

In his new function, he is intended to advance the strategic development of the brand in the premium segment, expand international markets and establish closer integration between sales and brand strategy.

“It is a matter close to my heart to continue writing my family’s history, but also to set their own accents,” says Martin Picard. The entrepreneur brings extensive experience from digital sales: he changes from the management of the Störtebekker start-up he founded to the family business. Darius Greulich will take over the operational management at Störtebekker in the future.

Martin Picard emphasizes that he wants to combine “the best of both worlds” at Picard: the agility and innovative strength of a start-up with the stability and substance of an almost 100-year-old family business.
