Peter Gillis and Nicol are separating: ‘Has nothing to do with a lawsuit’

Holiday park magnate Peter Gillis and his girlfriend Nicol Kremers are separating. The two made this known in a joint statement. “It has been decided in good harmony that it is better to continue as buddies,” writes a spokesman for Peter and Nicol.

The relationship between the two has been under a magnifying glass for some time. After an alleged assault, the Public Prosecution Service (OM) decided to prosecute Gillis. According to the OM, Nicol was abused by Peter by pulling her arms and hair, pushing her against a wall and pulling an earring out of her ear.

‘Cook is finished’
However, according to a spokesman for Gillis, the lawsuit has nothing to do with the break. “The cake is just finished, the love is over. But they remain friends.” Gillis initially denied the abuse, but later admitted that “something had happened in the private sphere.”

Outside of the statement, Peter and Nicol do not want to comment further. “Both need time to process this step and will not provide interviews or further comment.”

TV series
Peter Gillis and Nicol became best known to the general public through the TV series ‘Massa is Kassa’, in which the ups and downs of the holiday park family are followed.

Nicol has appeared frequently in the past nine seasons, but in the tenth season she will no longer be part of the regular cast.
