After five years of absence, the time had finally come yesterday: the indoor cross in Pesse made his comeback. What was once a popular event in the riding school has now found a new home thanks to Kenny Korten, who turned his caravan storage into a real motorcycle course. And the enthusiasm? It is unprecedented.
With a good dose of perseverance and a little farming, organizer Kenny Korten managed to perform a miracle. “For five years, people asked me:” When will it come back? ” At one point I thought, you know what, we just do it, “says Korten, pointing to the huge tent where the motorbikes roar.
The site is an impressive sight: sand has been poured in the caravan storage, hills are made and straw bales placed to keep everything safe. “We even sawn a hole in my barn to make this all possible,” says Korten Laughing. “The campers drove out, a piece of land tapped and Hoppa, there was it: the new course. One call on Facebook and within fifteen minutes we had 150 registrations.”
It was a spectacle all day long. From small 50 cc engines to roaring 500 cc machines: the field of participants was diverse and internationally. But the most striking? Five -year -old Sarah Korten, the youngest participant of the event, also the daughter of Kenny.
