In the presidential administration of Russia, as well as in the whole society, there are opponents of vaccination against COVID-19, said the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov, reports “RIA News”.
“We borrow in relation to them [противников вакцинации от коронавируса] irreconcilable position. We are ostracizing,” Peskov said.
According to him, there are many cases of COVID-19 in the presidential administration, the vast majority of employees work remotely. “The explosive contagiousness of the omicron is showing itself to its full potential,” the presidential spokesman said.
He added that there is no panacea for the increase in the incidence of the omicron strain, but vaccination can protect against the severe consequences of COVID-19.
