A woman was shot dead on Saturday afternoon in the Brusselsstraat in Ostend. It is a 43-year-old local resident. She was hit in the heart region and died. According to some media there would be several perpetrators, one of them would have fled with a taxi. On Sunday the manhunt on the perpetrator (s) will also be continued.
The public prosecutor cannot say anything about the circumstances of the murder for the time being, the investigation is in full swing. An autopsy follows later in the day.
