The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has appealed to the “spirit of comeback” of the PP in Catalonia to seek the great consensus which in his opinion embodies Catalan constitutionalism.
He declared it to journalists this Sunday in front of the party’s Sant Jordi stop on the Rambla de Catalunya together with the PP candidate for Barcelona Mayor, Daniel Sirera.
With his participation in the Diada, Feijóo has culminated a weekend in Catalonia in which has attended the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell Conde de Godó Trophythe April Fair of Catalonia and the presentation of the candidate for Mayor of Castelldefels (Barcelona), Manu Reyes.
The leader of the PP has affirmed that the objectives of the party are “very clear” in Catalonia: social reconciliation and economic recovery.
Feijóo has defended that politicians must reduce the problems of citizenship: “We are not in politics to divide or fragment, or confront society”.
