“Fred Vasseur will not be present at the track today. Following some medical checks, Fred will remain under observation at a local medical facility. No further medical information will be provided. We wish Fred a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the track soon.” With this press release, Ferrari announced that the 58-year-old team principal and general manager of the Ferrari will not be in the garage today for the third free practice (at 12.30 pm) and qualifying (at 4 pm) of the Monte Carlo GP.
