In the statement made by UEFA, in the EURO 2024 Qualifiers match in which Serbia hosted Montenegro on October 17, due to the “racist behavior” and various field incidents in the stadium, the home team was fined to play one match without spectators and a total fine of 89 thousand 250 euros. It was stated that the penalty was given.


According to the decision; Serbia will play its Euro 2024 qualifying match against Bulgaria on November 19 without fans.


It was emphasized that due to the racist behavior of Montenegro fans in the same match, damaging the stadium and throwing objects, a decision was made to ban the Montenegrin Football Federation from selling tickets to away fans for the next UEFA match.


UEFA also fined Montenegro 20 thousand euros.
