Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf is planning a branch in the Paunsdorf Center

The Düsseldorf fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg will move into the Paunsdorf Center shopping center in Leipzig, the real estate company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) announced on Monday. The branch is scheduled to open in 2025.

Now that the rental agreement has already been signed between the parties, the 2,400 square meter retail space is scheduled to be handed over this year. The owner of the Paunsdorf Center, URW, expects it to open next spring. Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf will be one of the approximately 150 stores in the Leipzig shopping center.

“The partnership with Peek & Cloppenburg* BV & Co. KG, Düsseldorf impressively shows the appeal and attractiveness of the Paunsdorf Center location,” said Constantin Wiesmann, URW Director of Leasing Austria & Germany. “With the new addition, we are once again strengthening the center’s fashion profile and further differentiating the brand mix. We are also setting another important building block to position the location even more strongly as a shopping and leisure destination in the region. We are very excited about this cooperation and looking forward to the opening in 2025.”
