Payment arrears at the judiciary reaches the low point: 79-year-old Limburg Court of Justice had to wait months for 50,000 euros

More than half of the interpreters that work for the judiciary were not paid on time in the first half of this year. For some things went completely wrong. A 79-year-old interpreter from Limburg even had to wait almost half a year for his money. “I didn’t get a wage, but I had to pay the VAT. When that didn’t work anymore, there was suddenly a bailiff at my door,” the man now testifies.
