The US sportswear provider Fabletics is pushing forward its expansion in Europe with Intersocks as a new partner.
On Wednesday, the activewear specialist announced a “multi-year strategic partnership” between the two companies. “As part of the agreement, Intersocks will be responsible for Fabletics’ retail expansion, online sales channels and wholesale operations in key markets such as Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia,” it said in a statement. “An expansion to other countries such as Hungary and the Baltic states” is already planned.
The partnership is “a response to the growing demand for premium activewear in Eastern Europe” and is “in line with Fabletics’ long-term strategy to expand into new markets by expanding online and partner channels and to anchor the brand even more firmly in Europe,” the company said.
According to Fabletics, Intersocks is a “leading regional distributor and sportswear specialist with a strong market presence in Eastern Europe.” The company is already a local sales partner for well-known brands such as Crocs, Heydude, Lloyd and Sofsole.
Mark Ralea, General Manager Europe of Fabletics, praised the collaboration that has now been agreed. “The partnership with Intersocks allows us to leverage their strong operational infrastructure and deep market knowledge to reach customers in Eastern Europe even more specifically and efficiently,” he said in a statement.
