A French tenant has to pay more than 221,000 euros because he sublet his studio in Paris without permission via the Airbnb platform. The man rented out his rental home no fewer than 329 times and received a total of 198,000 euros for this, writes the French newspaper ‘Le Figaro’. The sum that the man has to pay is the largest compensation for illegal subletting to date.
