The winner of last season’s Champions League defeated the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta Bayern Munich with 2-0. Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé scored the goals.
The French champion of coach Luis Enrique ended the game with nine men. After the red card for Willian Pacho in the 81st minute for a foul on Leon Goretzka, Lucas Hernández also got red. In the extra time he handed out an elbow bump to Raphaël Guerreiro.
The first half was unhappy for Bayern. Josip Stanisic had to be changed early by an injury. Shortly before the break, coach Vincent Kompany also lost Jamal Musiala. The attacker collided with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and ran a serious leg injury, possibly a leg fracture.

PSG took the lead in the final phase of the second half. After losing the ball at Bayern, the ball ended up in a counterattack at Doué who hit. Kane still thought he was right, but he was sidelined with his striking header. From a counter in injury time, Dembélé, who hit the bar just before, entered the 2-0. Substitute Thomas Müller seemed to be able to head in an attempt, to get another penalty, but after intervention of the VAR, the referee ruled that Nuno Mendes had not touched him. The defeat of Bayern also immediately meant Müller’s last match for the club.

PSG will compete against the Real Madrid in the semi -final. The team of coach Xabi Alonso won in New York in the quarterfinals 3-2 against the German team Borussia Dortmund. Paris Saint-Germain is the opponent in the semi-final.
Real already led 2-0 after twenty minutes through hits from Gonzalo García and Fran García. Then the game went in to live surprisingly towards the end. Three more goals fell in injury time. First Maximilian Beier took care of the connection (2-1), but substitute Kylian Mbappé made it 3-1 shortly thereafter. Dortmund then received a penalty kick, which was used by Serhou Guirassy (3-2). It earned defender Dean Huijsen of the Spanish superpower a red card.
It was almost 3-3, but goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois prevented the equalizer and therefore an extension with a miraculous salvation.
