Ozzy Osbourne and family reject TV series comeback

In their podcast, the family raises concerns about the mental impact.

In a new episode of the Osbournes Podcast on Tuesday (November 21), the Osbourne family discussed, among other things, their popular MTV reality series “The Osbournes.” In addition to looking back on the show, they agreed that they would never want to revive the series – for important reasons.

‘The Osbournes’ had a ‘negative impact on everyone’s health’

On the podcast, Jack Osbourne brings up the reality show (which ran from 2002 to 2005) and asks the family if it “had a positive or negative impact on everyone’s mental health.” Kelly Osbourne responds that the series had a “massive negative impact” on her mental health. She explains that it was difficult to deal with people judging everything she said and did on a daily basis. “It made me so insecure,” she adds.

Ozzy Osbourne has a different perspective. He says the show would serve as the “best diary” for future generations of the family. However, Ozzy laments the intrusive nature of the production, saying he couldn’t have even “picked his nose and popped a pimple” without the cameras filming him.

Another season? “Will never happen”

Sharon Osbourne added that the show was a great experience, but she felt it was time for it to end. Ozzy chimes in that the series became “unreal” as they were forced to go on fishing trips and do other activities they wouldn’t normally do in real life.

Jack then says, “That’s why I think we’ll never do another season.” Ozzy then replies, “It’s not going to happen. Never in a million years.”
