Owner voluntarily gives up pit bull after umpteenth biting incident

The facts happened around 9.30 am on Professor Mac Leodplein. The 70-year-old owner of the Stafford walked with his dog on a leash, until a pit bull attacked the owner and the Stafford for an unknown reason. Both were injured.

Police and a veterinarian were on the scene to investigate the biting incident. The pit bull’s owner admitted that he no longer has control over the dog and said he would voluntarily give up the animal. The pit bull is known for previous bites. The owner went to Het Blauwe Kruis under the supervision of the police. A report was also drawn up.
