Judith Ooms, Alderman for Mobility: “We absolutely want to better support the healthcare sector in terms of easy and close parking for their patients. The stickers for healthcare parking have therefore been given a new look. The option to indicate at what times the space is available for a healthcare provider can encourage solidarity. We also actively search, from door to door, in zones where parking for healthcare providers is now more difficult.”
The city of Ostend is also strengthening its support for the healthcare sector with 23 additional parking spaces.
