In the evening of May 4, I drove home with my daughters Maeve (5) and Ruth (3). They listened to the report on the radio about Remembrance Day on Dam Square. Ruth asks: “Did a lot of lava kill people?” Maeve answers: “No Ruth, because of the war!”
I parked the car at 8 p.m. Ruth, after 2 minutes of silence: “Are all people alive again now?” Maeve: “No Ruth, if you are dead you cannot come back to life, only Jesus can do that.”
