In the nineties of the last century, I was, a teacher at a MEAO in Groningen, once again with a group of students in the building of the House of Representatives. We saw that Frits Bolkestein, apparently on the way to the exit, approached us. With an engaging smile on his face, he said with his well -known slightly affected voice “Hi Madam” to me, to which one of the students responded directly with: “She lives in Leeuwarden.”
