For the projects around the Historisch Hart, Stad Kortrijk worked together with the Church Factory Onze-Lieve-Vrouw Kortrijk. “We greatly appreciate the very good, many years of cooperation,” says Eddy Debusschere, chairman of the church factory. “Finally, we restored the stained glass windows and the entire Zuidertoren with the heavy clocks. Now our church will bathe in light like a reborn art treasure ”. In total, the city of Kortrijk invested 700,000 euros in the renovation of the bell tower, the stained glass windows and the lighting. Visitors can enjoy the illuminated church from sunset until midnight.
